HTC : Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8S

HTC along with Microsoft launched its very first Windows Phone 8 operating system running smartphones - the HTC 8X and also HTC 8S. These two smartphones feature the brand new Windows Phone 8 operating system and boast iconic design, studio-quality seem alongside Music Sound and incredible camera capabilities.
Both smartphones will be available by November in more than 40 countries globally. The new devices will be marketed as the ‘Signature’ Windows Phone 8 smartphone said Jason Mackenzie, HTC global head of sales, at the launch event in New York.

HTC Windows Phone 8X

The smartphone is driven with Qualcomm S4 Dual-core processor at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz (similar processor speed as in the Nokia Lumia 920), coupled with 1 GB of RAM and comes with an internal memory of 16 GB with an microSD card slot for expanding storage space.
It is supplied with a 4.3 inch super LCD 2 touchscreen with 720p HD resolution with Gorilla Glass 2 screen protection. It features an 8 mega pixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. The camera also records videos at 1080p. The smartphone additionally has an incredible 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera which also records 1080p video clips. The company promises an ultra-wide-angle on front camera for more expansive pic.

HTC Windows Phone 8S

The 8S is a lighter version of 8X, it is operated with Qualcomm S4 dual core processor at a clock speed of 1 GHz, coupled with 512 MB of RAM and additionally is available with 4 GB of internal storage area and a microSD card slot for extending memory.
As said, it is a smaller sized version and is available with 4 inch super LCD touch screen with WVGA resolution along with Gorilla Glass scratch protection. It is available with 5 mega pixel camera at the rear end with LED flash, video recording in 720p and no front facing camera.

These both Windows Phone 8 are going to give tough competition to Nokia Lumia 920. The price and availability of both phones has still no disclosed by HTC. We don't have any hint that they will be available in India for first round or not. Let us keep our fingers crossed and hope for it to release in India.
