Nokia Asha 308 and Asha 309 : Latest addition to All-touch Asha Family

Now we have two more recent additions to Nokia's Asha Series, they are - Nokia Asha 308 and Asha 309.According to Nokia, the Asha 308 and Nokia Asha 309 phones are its most affordable capacitive touchscreen devices to date. A opinion discussed by independent analysts is that the Asha line brings great smartphones available for around USD 99. "Nokia's Asha Touch family delivers all the core smartphone experiences, and with the new software developer kit, provides ever-increasing flexibility for developers to build compelling new experiences for consumers," said Will Stofega, Mobile Phone Program Director, IDC.
 
The very new devices provide a fluid 'swipe' user interface as well as an open environment for third-party application development, features that have achieved the complete Asha Touch range full smartphone categorization from worldwide market research corporations and analysts such as GfK and IDC.

In its official statement, Nokia reveals that it has released a newer version of Nokia Xpress Web browser, which it claims enables as much as 90 percent more efficient mobile browsing and faster access to affluent web applications when compared to typical web browsers.

Nokia quotes the retail price for the Nokia Asha 308 and Nokia Asha 309 to be about USD 99, excluding taxation and subsidies, with delivery charges expected to begin in the fourth quarter 2012.
