Asus PadFone : Smartphone, Tablet and Notebook into one device

Asus has introduced an unique 3-in-1 device that could operate as a smartphone-cum-tablet-cum- netbook. In the standalone state the PadFone is definitely an Android smartphone that is driven by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system.

Once the PadFone is docked to the unique PadFone Station it gets changed up to a 10.1-inch tablet. The PadFone also comes through a a dockable full-size keypad that could be docked to the PadFone Station to have a notebook like experience.

When the smartphone is connected due to the PadFone Station the battery life gets enhanced by 63 hours and When the already connected PadFone Station is docked When using the detachable keypad the overall battery life extends to upas much as 104 hours. The clubbing of PadFone Station gives the consumers access to multiple ports like Card Reader and USB ports.

The PadFone sports a 4.3-inch display having 960×540 pixel resolution, an 8 megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, 1GB memory and every one of the the required connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS. The PadFone Station features a 10.1-inch display having 1280×800 pixel resolution, 8 megapixel back digital camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, 6,600 mAh battery, 2 USB 2.0 ports along with a memory card Reader port.
