Idea Aurus : 3G Dual Sim Android Budget Smartphone

Idea Cellular, an Indian telecom operator has turn up up With a new 3G dual SIM smartphone mainly based on Android, dubbed as Aurus, which is claimed to be a re-branded variation of Alcatel One Touch 985N smartphone price tagged competitively at Rs 7,190.

Aurus is the fourth Android smartphone launched into the marketplace by the Idea, with the another three smartphones being Idea Blade, Idea ID-918 and Idea ID-280.

According to Idea Cellular,Idea Aurus smartphone packs a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution. Further, the handset is fitted With a MediaTek MT6573 processor, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB extensible memory, 5MP back camera and 0.3MP part facing camera for video calling.

Having measurement of 61.84 x 116 x 12.15mm and/or a weight of nearly 136 grams, Aurus functions on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, which is pretty old.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone is stuffed with features like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth, 3G, EDGE and/or GPRS. Aurus is driven by a 1,300 mAh Li-ion battery of undisclosed battery backup.

Idea Aurus comes pre installed Holding a number of apps such as Idea App mail - the Idea’s app store, Android Manager, augmented reality application Layar, Currency Converter, photo editor PicSay, Pinball game, Ringdroid, Shazam and/or social netwoking applications such as Facebook and Twitter.
To become budget Android smartphone, Idea Aurus is price tagged at Rs 7,190 and it could be purchased from leading mobile retail stores and Idea outlets around the country. Also, Idea users can get free 3G services worthy of Rs 2,340 on a recharge of Rs 259.
