Nokia Asha 205 and Nokia Asha 206 : New Asha Family Members

Latest additions to the Nokia’s Asha Series are Nokia Asha 205 and Asha 206. Both the new phones; Asha 205 and Asha 206 come equipped with dual SIM functionality. As of now these two smartphone have been launched in four counties; Indian Kenya, Nigeria and Indonesia. Both the new entrants are priced at 3,500 approximately. Both of these mobiles were announced on 27th November which also marks the anniversary of the debut of Nokia’s Asha Family. Nokia Asha 205 and Asha 206 possess a revamped s40 OS and Express browser. Nokia is going to introduce all new file sharing feature called – ‘Slam’. It is a kind of variation in Bluetooth file sharing feature. Slam allows user to share data over any Bluetooth enabled device without having to pair it.

Nokia Asha 205 is a QWERTY mobile phone featuring a 2.4 inch screen with 240 x 320 screen resolution and 65k colors. It consists of 64 MB inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via SD Card. Other features include VGA camera, Stereo FM Radio with RDS, SNS integration, 1020 mAH battery etc. It is available with double as well as single sim variant. It also comes with a new and exciting button – Facebook Button.

Nokia Asha 206 is an alphanumeric keypad mobile phone featuring a 2.4 inch screen with 240 x 320 screen resolution and 65k colors. It also consists of 64 MB inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via SD Card. Other features are same as the Nokia Asha 205. It is available with double as well as single sim variant. This smartphone has an interesting camera application that allows the users to capture their own pictures via the rear camera through their voice guided instructions.
