Micromax Superfone Canvas A100 : Low Cost High Quality Phablet

The Micromax Superfone Canvas A100 has a big 5-inch touch display unit with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It promote dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby mode.

The device operates on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is driven by a 1GHz dual-core processor. Micromax is planning to release Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for both the smartphones (A90 and A100) later on this quarter or at the beginning of next quarter of this year. The intersting part about this mobile is that the device is listed on HomeShop18.com even before it was declared by Micromax. On the listing page, the MRP of the device was shown as Rs. 13,500 but is being offered at a discount making the price Rs. 9,999.

The Micromax A100 is a not-too-lightweight device, weighing in at 168 grams, but is relatively slim at 11.8mm. The device may be unveiled by Micromax on Friday.
