Sony Xperia SL – the refreshed edition of the Japanese company’s flagship device Sony Xperia S has just been made official. The gadget was made official by a leaked company web page from a Sony employee.

Sony Xperia SL which we had told you recently and was said to create its official introduction at this year’s IFA event in Berlin was leaked when somebody over at Sony jumped the weapon and publicized the official page of the smartphone a fortnight or so before its supposed announcement. As expected, the Sony Xperia SL is based on the Sony Xperia S, but comes with a somewhat faster CPU. The dual-core Qualcomm S3 chipset has its two Scorpion cores clocked at 1.7GHz, in place of 1.5GHz, but the rest of the specs sheet is similar to that of the Xperia S.
