Lenovo LePhone K860: Sported with Samsung's Exynos 4 Quad Processor

Lenovo LePhone K860 is the most out of box handset believed to element Samsung’ Exynos Quad core chipset and will sprint with Android ICS.

The Gadget Skull | Lenovo LePhone K860

First marked in China, the Lenovo LePhone K860 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and, as it is well understood, it is a high-end gadget. Distant from the dominant quad-core CPU (clocked at 1.4GHz), it attributes a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720) display, 8MP back camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of ROM. The gadget weighs 185 grams, and measures 143.6 x 74.5 x 9.6 mm – hence it’s just vaguely minor than Samsung’s 5.3 inch Galaxy Note.

There’s no statement so far on whether it will ever turn out to be available on the Indian or other global markets, but the Lenovo LePhone K860 should smack China by the beginning of August.
The Exynos 4 Quad comes with four Cortex A9 cores that can set out up to 1.4GHz separately and is based on Samsung’s 32nm HKMG fabrication process. The Exynos 4 Quad, also recognized as the Exynos 4212 (previously as the 4412), packs two times the number of cores and due to the new 32nm processor is said to be 20 percent more proficient.

The Exynos 4 Quad also uses power gating on all four cores along with frequency and voltage scaling for each core, which would assist it in cutting down on power expenditure whilst not in use. Samsung did not point out what GPU it will be using but it is expected to be the Mali 400-MP.

Google Android OS : Android Jellybeans (4.1) finally announced

Android Jelly Bean  has been officially announced by Google,  according to Google’s 4.1 nomenclature Jelly Bean is not a major Android update and could be considered a delta update.

The Gadget Skull | Android 4.1

By and large, Android Jelly Bean is Ice Cream Sandwich. Just … nicer. And smoother. And with a few additions that make it worth yearning for. Some of the noted features in the updated mobile OS are -
With the latest version of OS, now with Android Jelly Bean, you can have a number of offline features such as the new YouTube app which downloads and stores videos when the user is on Wi-Fi.  Even the maps app, gets a long overdue offline element. Users now have the ability to download maps and use them without a cellular or a Wi-Fi connection.
Google has finally released a much better version of Voice Dictation, especially with the Indian accent and in fact to a certain degree Google’s Voice dictation works better. Google improved the Voice recognition capabilities of Android with it now understanding natural speech. Along with this Google has added the recently released Google Search Knowledge Graph, which now acts more like an Answer based engine.
Google Now accesses the users search, location and calendar and delivers personalized content to provide preemptive information that the user might need. It could be an early reminder for a meeting if the traffic on the road is heavy or simple suggestions for restaurants during lunch hour depending on the user’s preferences judged from search results or check-ins.
Voice search now acts as an extension of Now, but it does so with hugely mixed results.
Google started the Jelly Bean announcement with Project Butter, which basically hinted at making the Android user experience buttery smooth. To begin things, Google has stabilized the system-wide frame refresh rate to a nice 60 frames per second, which will definitely speed up the UI. Additionally, tricks like triple buffering of animations via VSync should help matters more. Google will also ramp up the CPU clock speed when the touch interaction is started, to enable the buttery smooth experience.

Galaxy Note II : Rumoured to be launched in October

According to Ubuntulife.com, the next Galaxy Note – Galaxy Note II is already in works and if the whole thing goes as per plan then we may see the next Galaxy Note by October this year.
Obviously all this is at present just set of rumors flying, but if we pay close attention, this is the obvious choice for the next interactive step in the advancement of already booming Samsung Galaxy Note.
According to Ubuntulife.com, the next generation of the Galaxy Note would feature a Super AMOLED 5.5-inch display with 360 pixel density. The presumed Galaxy Note II is also said to feature a faster CPU and more memory. That will be quite a boost up from the present model. As mobile processors are getting faster and more powerful, it’s anyone’s presumption what the new Note would take on under the hood, but the site states that we’re looking at a dual-core Exynos 5250 processor with 1.5GB of RAM under the hood.

Samsung Galaxy Note II [Rumoured]

October seems to be the month when the device is expected to launch, if we are to go by the tech grapevine. In four tiny months Samsung could be gearing up for the next big mobile launch, the functioning word being ‘big’. With a 5.5-inch display, taking it up a score from the 5.3-inch found on the existing model, we’re probably looking at a larger device, unless Samsung sticks to the similar dimensions and simply reduces the bezel even more, like they have on their hot new Smart LED and Plasma TVs.
So just to review -
# 5.5-inch Super AMOELD touchscreen with a 1680 × 1050
# 4G LTE, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC
# GPS possibly with GLNONASS and a-GPS support
# Bluetooth possible v4.0 with USB and hopefully USB-on-the-go
# 8 megapixel AF/Touch focus camera with full HD video recording and playback
# a front facing camera for video calls and chats
# Possibly a 64GB edition along with 16GB and 32GB versions all with expandable support
# MHL for AV out

If we look at the opportunity wise, this handset surely has the potential in it to become a realism. But at this point of time we can not guess on the pricing of Galaxy Note II. Actually, these are all rumors and the actual product may differ as per then. Currently Samsung is all full of activity with marketing and manufacture of Samsung Galaxy S III.
