Micromax, famous Indian mobile manufacturer, appears to be
on right track these days. After the group’s introduction of super battery
powered Micromax Superfone A80 just few days past, now the company has
announced one more mobile that will be power-driven by Solar technology and
have named it Micromax X259.
Fascinatingly Micromax X259 will put up for sale for a price
of Rs. 2,499/- only, that according to us is a very cheap deal for such a phone
(phone, you don’t need to spend electricity upon, LOLZ). But we need to consider
that this is a solar motorized mobile and we still haven’t seen any piece akin
to it so we in fact can not authenticate whether the phone will be able to uphold
whole day of battery life.
All the way through the Solar panel, the X259 automatically
gets charged through solar power when the back panel is exposed to sunlight.
Some other specs of the device include a 2.4-inch QVGA
display with a resolution of 240×320 pixels, a 1000 mAh battery which gets
charged by means of the solar panel, Dual-Sim capabilities and dual-stand by
mode. Furthermore, the gadget also sports Bluetooth connectivity for sharing
images, music and videos.
