As believed, Android 4.2 will finally provide multiple user accounts, enabling family members to share the gadget while maintaining their own unique settings. And speaking of settings, Android 4.2 will have a “quick settings” section if you click the icon on the top right, enabling you to switch between user accounts, toggle WiFi and Bluetooth, adjust brightness, go into airplane mode, etc. Utilizing this way everyone in the household can have an account, which once logged in, welcomes them to their own custom home screen, background, widgets and apps. The gaming freaks have merit that even the games keep the individual high scores and levels.

The photo gallery app has also been renewed a bit, but the major introduction here is Photo Sphere. According to the release, this is essentially an app that lets you create 360-degree panoramic photos. It allows you to capture photos in multiple directions (up, down, left, right). After they've been captured and saved as JPEG files you can view them and navigate around the whole image. You can share the image on Google+ or, if you feel such as it, contribute the Photo Sphere to Google Maps. Product Management Director for Android Hugo Barra stated that "The feature itself was inspired by Street View". He further said that "The photos pack embedded XML metadata in them allowing you to easily share them on Google+ and put them in Google+ photo albums, where your friends can view them as well".

Android 4.2 will consist of gesture typing, a lot such as Swype, you only Swipe your finger over the letters you want to type, lifting after each word is complete, you only have to glide not tap. This comes in addition to the offline voice typing service that Google offers, which makes for an all-round great messaging experience.

'Google Now' has also got an update, adding cards for flight information, restaurant reservations, hotel confirmations, and shipping details . It now can feed data directly from Gmail, which will provide latest cards, such as package shipments info. There are further new cards like movie screenings, concerts, stocks, public alerts and developing stories & breaking news.

And for those who wants everything in larger version, Android 4.2 brings with it support for Miracast wireless displays. This means users can watch movies, play games, browse, or whatever on their HDTV wirelessly. All you have to do is connect a wireless display adapter to an HDMI-enabled TV and then it'll start displaying what's going on your screen using DLNA. The new feature uses the Miracast protocol for streaming.

Previously the widgets were made available on home screen for quick access to applications. But the lazy and tech loving people hate to open their lock screen every time they have to access something. Android 4.2 Jelly Beans solves this problem and provides option to add widget icon on lock screen.

Google has integrated a little feature called Daydream, which is simply a sort of a screensaver. Once switched on, you can set it up to show photo albums, latest news from Google Currents and more when the device is either docked or idle.

You can now use pinch-to-zoom in Gmail for improving reading, triple-tap to magnify the entire home screen and the pan and zoom along with two fingers, as well as included speech output and gesture mode navigation for the visually impaired users.

The techno-lovers are waiting eagerly to taste this new flavor of Android 4.2 Jelly Beans. This Android variation is only mini feature enrichment in previous version. What features do you want in next Google Android OS?
